Japanese and me go way back, I've been obsessed with Japanese since I was 14 years old.
Since then, I've interpreted, translated, lived in Japan, and helped over 2,000+ people learn Japanese. I’ve been teaching the language for over 10 years now, and I can safely say that watching students get excited over their progress never gets old.
It’s my greatest passion, and yep, you guessed it — it’s my greatest goal to help people learn it, too.
When I started learning Japanese, it was dry, difficult & textbooky (not a word, but a very real thing).
Fast forward 10 years and now it’s a confusing mess of apps & free resources that don’t encourage actual results. Hands up everyone who's tried to learn Japanese, downloaded Duolingo and had a very intense week long fling, never to open the app again?
For years, I thought... why is it so hard? Why is there no in between and why is there a total lack of resources for people that actually want to learn? You can do a course about KNITTING from your phone, with beautiful videos and instructional resources. So why the heck does this not exist for Japanese? This drove me mad enough to spend a year and a half building it myself.
I’ve thrown my heart & soul into this course. After years of teaching & interpreting, I’ve put everything I know into these pages. And I couldn't be more excited to share it with the world.
Because you really don’t need a million resources, countless textbooks, a phone full of apps and constant overwhelm.
You totally can learn Japanese in a structured way with zero burnout.
Here’s what I promise: 15 minute lessons, 5 times a week, for 12 weeks. Simple, straight forward lessons with no fluff or complicated grammar explanations. Support, guidance & all of the pieces of the puzzle that actually make sense. Results guaranteed.
...and no I'm not being dramatic! I could go on for hours about how perfect the structure and content that Aimee provides is but I'd literally be here all day. Instead, I want to focus on how her course has changed my overall outlook on language learning! I used to think I had to sit for hours revising grammar and doing vocab flashcards in order to learn a language. This course has proved me wrong. I have realised that the key to learning a language efficiently is CONSISTENCY!!! The fact that this course 'made' me study 20 mins a day 5 times a week provided me the consistency I needed to not only fit learning Japanese in around my hectic university studies, but also to form a routine. Aimee is a huge inspiration for me and she has truly made the best language course for anyone who thinks they don't have time... she'll prove you wrong!"
