Terms and Conditions

Payment: By registering for Japanese in 12 you agree to pay the applicable fees for the course that you purchase. If the repayment plan option is selected, you agree to pay for the course in three separate instalments. Japanese in 12 is not a subscription-based course. If you choose the repayment method, you authorise all repayments until the course is paid in full regardless of course completion. Your payment method will be charged for the renewal term of your Service on your billing date (i.e. monthly)
You will provide credit card, debit card or PayPal account details to pay for such fees on the date of purchase. You represent and warrant that you are authorised to supply such information and hereby authorise Japanese in 12 to charge your payment method on a one-off or periodic basis to pay the fees as they are due.

We do not offer refunds: All fees paid are non-refundable unless you end the contract for something we have done or are going to do which fall within the following reasons (a) to (b) in which we will refund you in part or in full. If the repayment method is selected, all fees are payable and non-refundable regardless of course completion, termination of your subscription shall not relieve you of any obligations to pay accrued charges.

a) We have told you about an error in the price or description of the Service you have ordered and you do not wish to proceed;
b) We have suspended supply of the Services for technical reasons, or notify you we are going to suspend them for technical reasons, in each case for a period of more than 14 days.

Refund Policy: Japanese in 12 Challenge
We’re confident in the value of the Japanese in 12 Challenge, but we also want you to feel fully supported in your decision. Refunds are available if the course does not meet the expectations described on our website and in our promotional materials.

Important to note:
- Refunds are not available for a simple “change of mind.”
- Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of gaining access to the course.

To be eligible for a refund:
1. You must provide evidence of completing all modules, worksheets, quizzes, and challenges on time (within their scheduled week, not crammed into a single day).
2. You must clearly explain how the course did not meet the expectations outlined in our materials.
If these conditions are met and your request is reasonable, a refund will be approved.

Other situations:
- Personal circumstances, timetable, or availability changes: While these are not eligible for a refund, we can convert your enrolment to a non-Challenge version, allowing you to complete the course at your own pace.
- Competitive style concerns: If the Challenge format feels stressful or negatively impacts your learning experience, we can also convert your enrolment to a non-Challenge version so you can continue at your own pace.

Course access: You will gain access to the course purchased within 72 hours of payment in full or of the first monthly instalment. If monthly instalments are not met after the 3rd attempt access to the course will be revoked until repayment has been met. We reserve the right to suspend access to any Japanese in 12 product at our sole discretion.

Privacy: We don’t share your personal details with any third party. Any personal details you choose to share on any Japanese in 12 platform are at your sole discretion.

Under 18s: Any students under 18 years old must inform us before joining. This allows us to review and explain a few important safety requirements to ensure the best experience and appropriate support during your learning.

How to tell us about problems: We truly hope you enjoy Japanese in 12, so we appreciate everything and anything you have to tell us about the course! If you have any questions or complaints about the product, please contact us via hello@japanesewithaimee.com.
